This is very attractive despite the plastic. It provides a moderate amount of light. Easy to assemble and comes with spare bulbs .I would give it 5 stars if the bulbs were a little brighter. Lights stay on about 8 hours. I made mine into a portable planter using an inexpensive half barrel shaped resin planter and anchored it by adding 3″ concrete to planter and filled the remainder with dirt and plants. My front sidewalk looks great.
I highly recommend this light post and would buy again.

The lights are nice and easy to install. I’m impressed with how long they stay lit, as I got up in the early morning and they were still on. What is frustrating with them is how cheap the metal used in them is. In certain areas it’s fine, but the pole is threaded and when you screw those areas together, they can break easily with enough pressure. Especially the area at the base.. The instructions state to use 3ft of concrete, which is laughable because I used a concrete wall block I just buried in the dirt, and this thing was more than enough to hold it in, as 20mph winds made the device break at the base. 20mph winds is nothing and should not be enough to damage and break this light..

Both die along time ago just got a chance to put them up a couple months ago and personally, I would not waste my money on these. They are a total crap they won’t make it through the night with light. They die after about six hours. also, they are so weak that they can’t be used for light to light anything just for a display.

This lamp post is sturdier than ones I’ve purchased in the past. It is in our parking strip and adds some light to the yard so you can see the sidewalk as our street is so dark at night. We like the more contemporary style which matches our home. One point, the base is so small that it won’t stay straight up in wind if it’s put in the ground. I purchased a 24 pound umbrella stand which it fits into and adds weight and width to the base. I’m hoping that will help and it’s sturdier than using the pins in the base it comes with. I plan to buy two more lights and see about getting a heavier umbrella stand. Only down side is I wish it had bulbs that I could replace easily.

What’s unfortunate about this product is they don’t last. I bought my first one this past spring and liked it and bought the second one a few weeks later. Well 6 months later only one light is working. They are in the sun most of the day and get plenty of light. These aren’t cheap in price and definitely a waste of money. Wish I could find some replacement for these. Definitely Not satisfied with this product!!

No useful at all, after all day in the sun the light is not enough even for having one person dinner. Is not useful even as decoration. Quality of the threads is extremely poor. The base is a joke, not solíd, so the thread was broken after a light wind.

Easy to assemble. LOOKS GREAT out by our pool in a dark corner. Doesn’t really put a LOT of light out like an electric lamp, it’s more like a really nice accent light. But it puts out enough for us.
Know that you have to turn on each lamp after assembly. That is not in the instructions.

I bought this in November 2023. I love it! I bought planters and put holes in the bottom. We attached it to the planters and filled with landscaping stones. They have lasted through storms, snow, & wind with no problems. Perfect brightness and I haven’t changed batteries yet.
