I love how these lights seem to rotate without any mechanical parts. Very pretty effect. But the lights only last 2-3 hours before they are out for the evening. Not long enough for the holiday time when the sun sets early.

I’ve owned the previous versions of these that had a spinning prism and loved them. They tended not to last very long because of expansion and contractions of the tiny plastic gears. No such problem with these. They shine a series of lights through a stationary prism which casts a captivating light display. I’ve placed a few along my sidewalk and a few in flower pots. I could not be happier!

These lights only stay on for 6 hrs each night, not 8-10 as described. The sun goes down at 4pm in winter, these lights are not staying on past 11pm, which is disappointing because I come home from work after 11pm. So they are already dead when I come home each night. We get full sun in Las Vegas, so these solar lights are getting more than 6hrs of direct sunlight to charge daily. These lights are great when they are on, but they don’t last more than 6hrs.

I have three sets of these solar lights. There is an option to have steady light or rotating light. I have mine on rotating and love the “light show” that appears on the ground when the lights are on. They are bright, easy to assemble. Awesome lights!
