   I got this 2-pack of lights to go along with a 4-pack of the same brand/type of torches. The lights look great and function well, but just like the 4-pack, these lights are not as tall as described. They are advertised as being 43 inches tall, but that’s not the case. Fully assembled, the torches are 31 inches from the tip of the stake to the end of the light. When the stake is in the ground, the torches are only 24 inches in height. The lights are easy to assemble and very sturdy. And even though the torches aren’t as tall as described, they are perfect for our needs. This would have been a 5-star review if the description would have matched the product.

   First the bad: There is no way this is 43″ tall. Even though that is just shy of 4′ (aren’t typical tiki torches usually taller than that?) this is in no way 43″ tall! I’d say they’re only about 24″ or so off the ground spike. If you’re looking to have something tall this IS NOT it. Now the good: The lighting effect these torches provide are super pretty and very impressive for an led light! I sort of expected it to be a cheap effect where the led light just “flashes” but I’ll be darned if it really does look like a live random-movement flame from a slight distance! The funny thing is now that they’ve arrived my wife wants to put them in a totally different place than I thought she would and she is now wanting them to be shorter! Well, that’s good because I can’t make them any taller, but I can take the center tube section to the old chop saw and shorten them down a bit. Just be sure that you are not going to get a tall torch and you’ll be very pleased with these lights.

   These were very simple to start and have worked every night i have had them. I will not be able to say at this point how long they will last ,but they are doing a fine job so far since the first night i installed them .

   After only 2 weeks one of the lights stopped working. Now it comes on during the day and it is off at night. I did order 2 more because I like them but hope they last and are worth the money.

   WBM Smart Solar Outdoor, Waterproof Flickering Flames 96 LED Torches, Landscape Decoration Lighting Dusk to Dawn Auto On/Off for Garden Patio Driveway, 2 Pack- I love these solar lights! They look amazing at night. I put one on each side of the front walkway to my house. I love how they do look like a flame inside. They are bright enough to see from a distance too but they don’t cast a light onto the ground for the walkway which is fine because I use other solar lights for that. The assembly is almost nonexistent. It takes a few minutes to screw them together and that’s about it. The light lasts the whole night too. I’ve had a very similar pair for a while now so this is a perfect addition. The solar panel on the top is a bit sensitive to light so if my motion sensor lights go off sometimes they will trigger these torches to turn off. This doesn’t happen often though. They are sturdy if you place the pole firmly into the ground. I’ve been surprised some of the storms we’ve had haven’t caused any issues for these. They haven’t fallen or stopped working. They’ve been through a ton of rain too. That’s a good sign to me. Aesthetically these are fantastic. They really add a lot of character to the yard. The price point is close to what I expected. For a two-pack, I think it’s reasonable given the quality. They look great and have held up really well. I also like these as a gift, I got a set for my mother. I recommend giving these a shot.

   I’m going to assume that at one time, this item’s listing had a goof-up in its description box claiming it was 43”. At the moment, all I see is where it says it’s 31.7” high, so undoubtedly the error’s been fixed. Either way, I’m not going to hold it against the product itself. It was simply a typo that needed to be corrected. I could see if it was an outright lie on purpose, but I’m sure it was a mistake, so nothing to cry about…

   Moving right along, these lights are absolutely gorgeous. I felt like the price was a little high for just 2 solar lights, but I was unaware that these having a glowing effect and that they are much taller and larger than your average solar lights. Hard to tell just looking at them online. Cost-wise, I couldn’t really see buying several of these to place along a pathway, but they look great in a pair side by side at front steps. So, don’t feel like you have to have a ton of them to enjoy them. Like I said, they’re larger than average so highly visible. Very easy to operate and the on/off button is easily accessible towards the top of the torch. The glow is relaxing, ambient, and enjoyable. Although it doesn’t put off a ton of light in the sense that they will illuminate an outdoor area, they still add a lot to your surroundings aesthetically. They’d look great in a firepit sitting area as they somewhat replicate the dancing glow of an actual fire. As long as they are seated properly in the ground, they should last well as they seem quite durable. For now, they’re definitely a 5 star product. I’m impressed.

    WHY is it Impossible for us to change the batteries?? We bought standard 3.7 batteries, but the solar torch lights don’t come apart without breaking them! We would purchase more of them if we could use & enjoy them longer!!
    If not for this Flaw, we would buy them as gifts. Please ask manufacturers to make changes necessary for easy battery replacement.
