Have almost a year of life in the weather, still working great. Put this on a shed for a little light outside the door, but don’t have enough need to bury a line all the way. Does the trick perfectly. Even in the winter they collected enough juice to stay lit virtually all night. No visible rusting, no obvious reduction in brightness. I’d but this again.

We bought these for a light on shed. The screws that hold the light seem a bit short for application. It seemed okay after a little work to get it to stay screwed on, but after a very high wind, we came home to the light on the ground with broken bulb, and not too sure what replacement bulb we need to buy/get now. We screwed down through, so not as cute as before, but it won’t blow off again, we just need to figure out what light we need?
Update: a new barn light was sent and it works great! Great service and a good solar option that is cute!

Love these! Love the look. Good quality. Easy to assemble and install. Comes with the bulbs. They hold a charge for at least 8 hours (that I know of). Good brightness. Three different settings and motion. I especially like the 30% to 100% bright setting. 3 solar panels to recieve light in multiple directions. I have mine under an eave so they are mostly shaded and still charge during the day pretty well and even on a cloudy day. In the photos they are at 30% then when there is motion they turn up to 100%. Very happy with these and they look awesome on my poolhouse.

These solar charging lights are awesome . The size is perfect . I placed them over my garage doors and they immediately when I pull up light up. The light that comes from them is perfect for the area I wanted . The motion sensor is easy to use with three different functions. Purchased in August and received within a couple of days. Installation was easy and, as per instructions, allowed the battery to charge a couple of days before light activation. The unit functioned flawlessly until early October, then failed. Tried to remedy by removing and installing the battery, cleaned the units solar panels but still would not function. Contacted Siedinlar via email and after providing a photo receipt I was informed they were shipping a new unit. Received the unit a few days later and have recently installed and it is working perfectly as well. I was very impressed with Siedinlar’s customer service and would definitely purchase from them again.

I purchased a set of Siedinlar Solar Barn Lights in July 2024, and was initially impressed by its vintage farmhouse design, and sturdy aluminum build. Installation was easy, and the three adjustable modes-including motion sensor functionality-were genuinely useful for my outdoor space. The light performed reliably through the summer and fall, handling Toronto’s weather with ease. I liked the solar charging and found the motion sensor responsive.
Unfortunately, in early 2025, both lights stopped working entirely. After confirming that both the rechargeable batteries and LED bulbs were not the issue, I was left disappointed by its short lifespan. My troubleshooting and research pointed to potential problems like damaged wiring, a faulty light sensor, or issues with the internal circuitry-none of which are easily fixed without some technical know-how. While the Siedinlar light was great while it lasted, its failure in less than a year raises concerns about long-term reliability. For those considering this product, be prepared for possible troubleshooting or warranty claims if problems arise.

These lights looks great and feel like their a built fairly well. They are solar powered so they are equipped with an odd size rechargeable battery. After about 2 months, one quit working. I figured it was the bulb that went out, but it was the solar charging mechanism that has failed. I emailed their customer service email about this asking if there was anything they could do to assist me. I will update this review when/if they respond! ***Hoping they do because my wife and I really do like these lights a lot**

LAST UPDATE: Replacement light works great customer service is excellent I would recommend this product and company. UPDATED: contacted seller and they responded quickly and have sent out a replacement wish all customer service was this good!!!! UPDATE: Purchased these lights at the end of May and one has already stopped charging and will not come on. Let’s see what their customer service is like this is the test. I just installed them so can’t really comment on how long they will last but I can say i am impressed by the build quality, ease of installation, and overall look of these lights. They are bright when you need or want them to be and it’s nice to be able to set them to be on but not at full power.
