I bought four of these about a month ago. Three of them still work; the fourth one died after the water seal broke and rain ended up inside the unit. They do a nice job lighting up areas on demand (i.e., when the sensors are tripped), the sensors do seem effective, and thus far, they charge well in even partial sun. I just have a question as to their overall durability. I’ll be happy if I get 1 year out of the three I have left.
UPDATE 12/7/24: Well, that was short. I now have two that are dead after about less than two months of use (presumably water seepage again), and a third that stays charged for about two hours (on motion sensing setting) before calling it quits for the night. I’d send the package back, but I’m past the return window. I have decorative backyard solar lights that are still lighting up after 2+ years. Bummer.
