Update: The two lights that had stopped working seem to be working fine now. Still wish they would stay lit longer.
Original review: Very disappointed in quality of these lights. They only stay lit a fraction of the time when compared to other solar lights we have in our yard. After four months just two of the our lights we purchased come on at dusk. I believe water seeped into the housings shorting the units.

I have an uncovered balcony that gets direct sunlight half of the day and over the past few days Ive let them charge in various positions, checked they were on, even put them under a UV light to test the functionality. One of them NEVER worked, not even after days outside and switching the on/off button different days to make sure I didn’t accidentally have it on OFF, total waste. The second light worked….. for about 3 minutes. Same thing, letting it charge for a few days to see if it gradually improved and it didnt. Complete waste of money and time. I would’ve returned them, but the way I hung them up, I basically had to cut the wires in pieces to take it down and it wasn’t worth the drive to a return center. BUYER BEWARE

My outdoor plug didn’t work, so I wanted to get solar lights for Halloween. This worked very well. We didn’t get a whole lot of sunshine, so sometimes it seemed to not stay lit for very long, but lasted through rain, freezing temps and heavy winds so far. Thumbs up.

I just received, so not sure of the longevity. Anyway, set it up and looks really nice. Has a mode button, so you can set the lights to blink how you want it (steady, fast, slow). I set up for Halloween, but definitely leaving up through the Thanksgiving Holiday.
